If you’re a writer and you’re not using AI writing systems to help you create drafts, you’re losing out.
In the last years or so, AI writing tools have helped me:
break through writer’s block
increase my level of confidence
and dramatically boost my productivity levels
I don’t use AI as a replacement for writing; instead, I use it as a tool to help me generate drafts and rework pieces I originally created as long ago as 2009.
If you use AI writing systems creatively and strategically (to flesh out initial drafts), and if you spend time creating prompts that echo your existing writing style and tone of voice as a writer (by teaching the system about your writing style), AI writing systems can significantly speed up your writing process and ultimately, help you become a better and more productive writer.
I embracing the process of multiple rewrites—even if this adds time to the process—by adding your own experiences and thoughts to the material your preferred AI platform creates. I also advise you to find and use a reliable plagiarism checker that you feel comfortable with.
And for anyone wondering, no, THIS article was NOT created by an AI writing system.
Although AI writing tools have a place in your creative arsenal, one thing they should not be used for is to do all the work for you.
AI tools are not your enemy. They are simply tools.
Use them creatively and use them to make your life easier.
As always, thanks for reading.
